We Did It!

By the grace of God, we have managed to read through the Bible this year.
If you are here expecting another Bible Passage to read, I am sorry, we have finished our plan for 2009
For those of you who have been faithfully reading everyday… we did it. We actually managed to finish reading through the whole Bible!
Some of you have not managed to read every single chapter and book. But we are sure you have read the Bible more this year than the last. It does not matter… what matters is that we do read the Word of God regularly.
And we do hope that through the reading of the Bible, we have drawn closer day by day to the Lord Jesus.
Next year, we will begin another new Bible Reading Plan and we do hope you will join us again. We are not going to read through the Bible but instead, it will be based on a theme and subthemes - which is very relevant to us Christians.
This will start from 10 Jan 2009.
We would also like to thank all the contributors to the Bible blog - the writers, the commenters, the members who read visit us but do not comment - your encouragement and support has kept this project going on for the whole year!
And we also thank our Lord Jesus - who has been so gracious to us - revealing truths, sharing insights and giving words of comfort and encouragement each time we turn to His Word. Lord, please give us this day our daily bread!
So in the meantime, here is a New Year Blessing for all….
Lord, as a New Year begins
We come to you and ask for your blessing
We pray that you would give us joy to fill our days
And peace to fill our hearts and love to fill our lives.
Thank you for the plans you have for us in the New Year.
Thanking God for you and praying your new year is blessed in every way.

I will praise You, O Lord,
with my whole heart;
I will tell of all Your marvelous works.
I will be glad and rejoice in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.
(Ps 9:1-2)
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.
(Ps 19:14)
Praise God for a year of effort!
